Dr. Ahmad Taufik Jamil

Dr. Ahmad Taufik Jamil is the Head of IT department for UKM Medical Center since 2003. He received his first medical degree from National University of Malaysia in 1995. He then received his Master degree in Information Technology in 2001 from Putra University of Malaysia.  He received his second Master degree in Community Health, majoring in Health and Hospital Management form National University of Malaysia in 2002. He worked with Ministry of Health, Malaysia for 7 years since 1995 as medical officer. He was appointed as Medical Lecturer in Department of Community Health, UKM in 2002. Currently he's a Project Manager for Hospital Information System (C-HEtS) Development Project for the hospital and has recently launch phase 1 of his project. Phase 2 of the project is currently underway. He was  the council member for Malaysia Health Informatics Association (MHIA) for 2007and protem committee member of HL7 Malaysia.
